Description: Utilizing new media and up-to-date tools and resources can be a challenge but is essential in teaching adults and active learning. Discover hands-on how to navigate the digital library world, access the rich content of academic resources available to you through the SMU Twin Cities Library, and abide by digital copyright laws. Also learn efficient methods of evaluating students' sources to ensure academic quality.

Searching the Digital Library: Basics (webinar)

Description: Searching the Digital Library Basics is a 45 minute webinar designed to assist faculty to efficiently navigate and access academic resources using the digital tools provided by the Twin Cities Library. Participants will interact online to discover ways to locate and retrieve articles, books, and videos.

Searching the Digital Library: Advanced (webinar)

Pre-requisite: Working knowledge of locating resources through TC Library
Description: Searching the Digital Library Advanced is a 45 minute webinar that teaches faculty to reserve videos for specific dates throughout the semester, place items on course reserve for students, abide by digital copyright laws, and incorporate library resources into teaching through Blackboard.
