Web Highlighting & Notetaking

The following resources allow you to organize your work by highlighting and adding sticky notes to web pages. Several of the resources below allow you to collaborate as a group online.

Diigo lets you highlight and add sticky notes to portions of web pages. The notes and highlights will be there each time you visit the page.

Edmodo—Microblogging

Edmodo provides a way for teachers and students to share notes, links, and files. Teachers have the ability to send alerts, events, and assignments to students. Edmodo also has a public component which allows teachers to post any privately shared item to a public timeline and RSS feed.
