The librarians at Saint Mary's University provide many opportunities for students,
faculty, and staff to become familiar with the resources and services available
through the Library.
For students:
A librarian is always present at new student orientation
to give a brief introduction to resources. In addition, users can stop by the
library or set up an appointment to receive more in-depth research assistance.
You can make an appointment for individual assistance by calling the library
at 612-728-5108.
For faculty:
Instructors can request that a librarian provide instruction during a class. These
sessions typically last one hour. They can be a general overview of library
services and the resources in a particular subject area, or they can be customized
to address a particular class assignment. Also, the library and writing center
do joint presentations that last approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Call the library
at 612-728-5108 for more information.
Please submit the Instruction Request Form at least two weeks before the requested class time.
