How to Chat with a Librarian

  • Find the Ask a Librarian chat box on the Library home page or on this page
  • Click on the area that says "Type here and hit enter to send a private message"
  • Type your message
  • Hit enter

A librarian on the reference desk will respond immediately to your message. Note: Do not navigate away from this page or your correspondence will be lost.

A librarian is available to chat during open library hours or anytime the chat box says, "TC Librarian is online." If a librarian is not available, you will see the message "TC Librarian is offline."
