Twin Cities Campus Library uses two different logins. One login is used for accessing databases from off-campus. The other login is used for checking your library account and ordering books/articles from other libraries.
Database Access | My Account / Interlibrary Loan Login | Requesting an ID Card
All article databases (i.e. EBSCO MegaFILE) and e-book collections (i.e. Netlibrary) can be accessed from off-campus by current students, faculty, and staff. To access databases from off-campus:
Contact the IT Helpdesk (tchelpdesk@smumn.edu or 1-800-372-8176 ext. 7800) if you encounter problems logging into databases or if you forgot your username/password. If you can log into WebTools, Blackboard, Saint Mary's email, and Engage (online students only), but you cannot log into the databases from off-campus, your account may not be fully activated. Contact the IT Helpdesk to activate your account.
You will use the following information to log into your library account or request interlibrary loan books / articles:

Your student id is also used for checking out materials from the library. If you forgot your 14-digit barcode number or do not have your student id card, you can figure out your barcode number by adding 235000 to your student id number. Contact us if you encounter problems logging into your library account or ordering interlibrary loan books / articles.
Your ID card provides your username for using WebTools, Blackboard, Saint Mary's email, and Engage (online students only). The ID card also contains your 14-digit library barcode number, which you can use to check out materials from SMU Twin Cities Library and affiliated libraries and to order Interlibrary Loan materials.
If your card is damaged, lost, or stolen, you may request a replacement for $20, which will be charged to your student account. Learn how to request a new card here.
