Role of the Library Liaison
- Serve as point of contact for questions/concerns about the library (status of budget, new journal request, hosting an author, etc.)
- Assist with and encourage participation in collection development for assigned departments
- Keep departments informed about library programs, services, and resources
- Keep abreast of departments’ needs for library programs, services, and resources
- Evaluate current collections and remove extraneous material as needed
- Enhance the link between faculty departments and the library
