Applications are due April 1st
of each year for a start date in May of the following year. The GRE is
NOT a required part of the application.
The application, goal statement, transcripts, resume or curriculum vitae,
reference letters and interview should address the candidates ability
to:
- communicate effectively.
- think critically.
- practice critical care nursing competently.
- conduct their professional life ethically and with integrity.
- excel academically.
- demonstrate initiative,
self-direction, and motivation.
- understand the commitment
required of the student to become a nurse anesthetist.
All applicants for the Graduate
Program in Nurse Anesthesia must submit (by April 1st):
- The Graduate
Student Application Form
- Supplemental
Application for Nurse Anesthesia Form
- Reference
Form for Nurse Anesthesia Applicants (Three references are required)
- A
resume or curriculum vitae
- Goal statement
- The application fee
- All transcripts
