March/April 2006 Update

In mid-March, all self-study committees submitted their final drafts to the Self-Study Steering Committee; these drafts are available for community review and comment on the Self-Study website under “Report Drafts.” The Steering Committee reviewed the drafts and clarified any issues related to accuracy of facts and identified if additional data review was required. In some cases, additional evaluation was required and was undertaken by the Steering Committee in order to provide the most thorough review possible. Review of the identified recommendations required some clarification of context from several committees. Drafting of the final document began in late-March in order to put the document into one voice and review of these drafts began in earnest in early April. These drafts are also available on the Self-Study website under Report Drafts. Plans for the printing and design of the final document are being considered with the assistance of the Communications & Marketing staff.
