The illuminated manuscript project is
an ongoing collaborative effort by Professor Christian Michener and the
junior year students who participate in a course called Literature and the Arts. Their
shared goal is to create an illuminated copy of the Gospel according to
Saint Matthew. Eventually, Dr. Michener hopes to complete all four gospels
and to compile the student generated manuscripts into an illuminated
Gospel for the Lasallian Honors Program. It would be on permanent display
at the Damien Commons in Watters Hall.
