M 115 College Algebra 3 credits

                This course and M 116 prepares students for M 151 Calculus I, ST 232
                Introduction to Statistics and can be taken concurrent with M 116 College
                Trigonometry. Topics include: basic concepts of algebra, equations and
                inequalities, coordinate geometry, graphing techniques and functions,
                polynomial and rational functions, exponential and logarithmic functions,
                systems of equations, and matrices and determinants. Prerequisite: M 102 or
                a qualifying score on placement test.
