How to Give
Thank you for choosing to make a gift to the Music Department.
- The extraordinary growth of the music department in the past few years (we currently support 60 majors!) has increased the need for the acquisition and maintenance of new and used instruments for music students.
- Opportunities exist for the support of outreach events. The touring of student ensembles provides invaluable experiences for growth and learning while also being vital for recruitment and retention.
- Endowed scholarships provide essential support for attracting and retaining undergraduate music students. An endowed gift exists in perpetuity, may be named for the donor or someone the donor wishes to honor, and can ensure enduring support for the university and its students and faculty.
- The Music Department welcomes gifts that are not restricted for specific purposes, but are designated to be used at the discretion of the dean, in the best interests of the department. Such monies can take a variety of forms - from annual gifts, to endowed unrestricted funds. With imagination, and the support of our friends, the possibilities are limitless.
