Applications are due April 1st of each year for a start date in May of the following year. The GRE is NOT a required part of the application.

The application, goal statement, transcripts, resume or curriculum vitae, reference letters and interview should address the candidates ability to:

  • communicate effectively.
  • think critically.
  • practice critical care nursing competently.
  • conduct their professional life ethically and with integrity.
  • excel academically.
  • demonstrate initiative, self-direction, and motivation.
  • understand the commitment required of the student to become a nurse anesthetist.

All applicants for the Graduate Program in Nurse Anesthesia must submit (by April 1st):
  1. The Graduate Student Application Form
  2. Supplemental Application for Nurse Anesthesia Form
  3. Reference Form for Nurse Anesthesia Applicants (Three references are required)
  4. A resume or curriculum vitae
  5. Goal statement
  6. The application fee
  7. All transcripts since high school (If you have transcripts from a country other than the United States, please follow the procedure described. To see this procedure click HERE
