Genealogy of the Corca Duibhne of the seed of Cairbre
Musc, as sought in the ancient book (the [sho_s] cannot be found here). Iar, son of Degad from whom Siol
Ecuane, Fuithe, son of Degad from whom the Érainn, and from the
Érainn are enumerated the nobility of Conaire together with the names of
his descendants. Cairbre Musc had
a son Corc Duibhne (from whom Corca Duibhne), father of Cormac Finn, father of
Morchuinn, father of Nuden, Ráthach, Eraic Maul, Cor, Hér &
Ség. Nuden had six sons,
i.e. Buccan, Cócán, Corcán, Tabarnach, Lugh &
Flandan. From them descend all the
lines of Siol Núidin, i.e. Clann na Desisi, that is from Flannan comes
Cineal Flannain, i.e. Aos Coincinn, and Braccan [Buccan] from whom Muineachán,
from them the royalty, i.e. two sons of Olchobhar, i.e. Mughron, Flann, Clann
Fhlainn wherein the king is normally found, i.e. Fálibhe, from whom
Uí Failbhe, and Conghal, from whom Uí Conghaile, the two sons of
