O'Shee, Col. William. A History of the Sept or Tribe of O'Shee, Manuscript, unpublished, dated 1869. Col. William O'Shee styled himself, The O'Shea, Chief of the Name, and was the senior representative of the line of O'Shee of Cloran. This particular copy of the manuscript was presented to a James John O'Shee (b. 1819) of Abbey View, Clonmel, and later acquired by another O'Shee family in the same vicinity, with typescript copies distributed to some descendants, including Dr. Vincent O'Shee of Grosse Point Woods, Michigan, USA.
