Nate Eide - GIS Forester

Nate Eide of the Winona MSGIS program was recently hired as a GIS Forester in Two Harbors, MN. Nate's responsibilities will be to plan, interpret, analyze, and report forest management resource inventory for Lake County Forestry. He is also responsible for overseeing the establishment and maintenance of the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) as well as analyzing GIS data collected through field sampling, surveying, GPS, and photo-interpretation.

Nate has previously worked part-time within our own Department's GeoSpatial Services (GSS) while pursuing his MSGIS education with Saint Mary's University of Minnesota. Nate, congratulations with your new career, and please watch out for all the bear and moose!
