Saint Mary's University Paintball Club

The St. Mary's Paintball Club is a dedicated team, practicing almost every weekend, and participating in as many tournaments as possible. SMU Kidz welcomes all players that are interested in the sport, and can provide the necessary equipment to get inexperienced players started. The club is also partially funded by Saint Mary's University, covering much of our tournament fees and travel expenses.

During the 2007-2008 school year, the SMU Kidz will compete in four tournaments throughout the Midwest. These tournaments include one event at Action Packed Paintball Games in Jordan Minnesota, two events at Stinger Paintball in Kewaskum Wisconsin, and one event at Air Assault in Maple Plains Minnesota. In addition to the four Midwest North Division events, the SMU Kidz will also participate in the NCPA national tournament which has previously been held in Orlando Florida and Dallas Texas.

For the first four events of the 2007-2008 school year the SMU Kidz will compete in the class AA division of the NCPA. This division uses a five man tournament format, and typically the team plays in at least eight matches per tournament. At the national tournament, however, we hope to compete in the class A division, which uses the X-Ball format of game play and allows for more games to be played.
