Common Concerns

Concerns and problems are as individual as each student. Common concerns include the following: low self confidence, lack of motivation, feels of anxiety, life purpose and direction, relationship concerns, alcohol or drug use, distressing emotional states, feelings of depression and sadness, grief, self-defeating behaviors, managing learning disabilities, ADD, or ADHD. These are only some of the issues that student bring to counseling. The counselor will listen carefully to each student's own unique concerns.

Other services such as consultation, general information, psychological testing, and workshops are available.

Issues that Cause Concern

Concerns and problems that students bring to counseling are as individual as each student. The counselor or psychologist will first listen carefully to each student's own unique concerns , will ask further questions and assess the student’s situation and concerns comprehensively and will work with the student to set goals for further counseling sessions.
